Halloween Never Die!: Spooky Season comes to an end, for now!!
With all this Election news and waiting on whom will be elected/reelected for our presidency and Halloween may be over, we want to shed light on those whom love the spooky season that their house gets dressed up. Halloween may now be gone and the spooky decorations are now put away in favor of Thanksgiving and for some Christmas as well. With most of the country looking forward to the rest of the year to come to a close, we want to shed some light on great Halloween displays and give you a quick backstory on whom created them. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic most families and friends haven't had much luck or didn't decide to put up their Halloween décor and display them for all the world to see; however, two (2) talented, creative, and energetic young man took their love for Halloween and its spooky season into their own hands (CDC Guidelines and all).
Halloween displays have been on the rise as of lately to show the audiences and trick or treaters a fun setup. Some displays are cool and creative and others may be scary and frighten. Lots of time, energy and money have been brought into decorate their homes, inside and/or outside, to accommodate for the love of the spooky season. Lots of animatronics, window decorations, props and different settings gives a nice Halloween display a spooky and creative feel to it. With the love of all things Halloween, from the scary movies to even the falling tree leaves, Cameron John and Brandon Tyler Munoz seek out to make a great Halloween display every year no matter the conditions.

Nowadays Youtube and social media is on the raise with many personnel using this platform as they see fit. Youtube itself is a great way to get your ideas out there to make money, review items/businesses and even to inform the public on what is new for different seasons. Not only does this Youtuber love the Spirit of Halloween, Cameron John (Youtuber) really embraces the season very well. Cameron John is a well-known Youtuber who started out making videos since 2015 and collecting lots of attention since. Cameron John is not only a Halloween Youtuber and a Halloween Enthusiast but he also is Broadcast Journalism student. Cameron John (former Cameron9999) loves Halloween and Spirit so much that he decided to work for his local Spirit store and has been loving it even since. He creates well known content from small little thriller series to Halloween product reviews and even some site tours of localized Spirit Halloween stores. Every year Cameron takes you on a spooky journey of what great props Spirit Halloween stores offers and sometimes buys new ones to add to his collection. Some of his videos are very informal with offering reviews on products they purchase throughout the season and even show you how to assemble some of them properly. He recently started producing videos of local haunts, throughout the Halloween and other holiday seasons (I.E Bayville Haunted Christmas Scream Park), featuring walkthroughs and what each offers for his fans alike.
Over the five (5) plus years he has been producing videos on Youtube, his master pieces every year culminate in a great and creative Halloween display each year. On Halloween, Cameron and his father display a scary, spooky and most terrify Halloween setup filled lots of fog and props from the small cobwebs to animated animatronics, even a small graveyard scene, with costumed ghouls in order to frighten the local trick or treaters in their neighborhood. This year was a little different due to Covid-19 guidelines, but wasn't going to stop him from doing what he loves to do for his family, fans, and friends alike. Creating a six (6) foot distance candy shoot, Cameron and his father wasn't letting trick or treaters go emptied handed. With his collection growing every year, Cameron features most, if not all his props, even new ones. This year features new props I.E an Artic Dragon and a soul taker with new setups that are simply amazing brought together by him that would rival some haunted attractions. We at Next Dimension Productions are amazed every year on how Cameron John incorporates different/new props into his display and on how their display really brings their community together during a fun filled time for all ages. We highly recommend going out to see his display on Halloween (if you live near) or even watch it on his Youtube Channel and be amazed on what they put together for their fans and friends like. Cameron's Halloween display isn't all fun and games and it takes time to plan, design, and develop this amazing display. This setup took about three(3) hours on Halloween day to complete the entire display. The setup process it planned months in advance; however, the graveyard scene they use every display is installed and setup by end of August. The rest of the display is done the day of including large animatronics and this year the Spirit Halloween cardboard ISE sign to complete this amazing and spooky haunt display. Check out below his 2019 Halloween and compare for yourself which one you like best.
Just like Cameron John, another new up and coming Youtuber, really loves the Spirit of Halloween and this year wanted to display what he has to offer his community during this Spooky Halloween season. Brandon Tyler Munoz, aka Brandon the Halloween Kid loves all things Halloween and producing fun and exciting videos. So much so, we featured him and his latest short film, Halloween: Evil Never Dies location below. Brandon has been on Youtube for a little while producing videos that are spooky and very informational as well as other exciting and thrilling videos like theme parks and different rides. He has been producing videos since 2016 and hasn't stopped since. His videos include different Halloween props from different stores (Spirit Halloween, Party City), different seasonal locations he travels to, Fan films, Halloween store tours and even his very own Halloween display.
As the Halloween season is concluding, Brandon the Halloween kid, wasn't going to let a little Covid-19 hurt his Spirits of a great Halloween time. He decided to put on his Halloween Haunted House display anyway and was surprised on how many trick or treaters came to watch and get scared. This year, his display features iconic characters like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers stalking the grounds of his haunted house. He pulls no punches on the props and decorations he lines his haunted house. Cobwebs, served limbs and even a few ghouls are on display for all to see and his creativity for making this display is chilling and amazing. With limited space, Brandon makes every space foot of this haunted display work and worth ever while having a fun time. Trick or treaters beware, Michael or Jason might be around the corner in this fantastic Halloween Haunted display that is a must see. We highly recommend going to see his display (if you live nearby) or watch it on his Youtube channel. Please check out his 2020 Halloween Haunted display below and go follow him and subscribe for fun and exciting content he produces.

DC Serves Justice during FanDome Event
August 22nd of 2020, brings light to a cinematic universe that trails Marvel in both value and profit. There has been lots of speculation on what will be shown at this event over the last month or two. With the uncertainty of live events, they have chosen to hold this all virtually in a way, it gives back to the fans. As this event has past, we will break down what was shown in turns of cinema that will shape the DCCU for the future and Beyond!
Virtual events are now a thing since the COVID-19 pandemic took hold of all of us around the world. With the likes of films as such as "The Batman", "Suicide Squad 2" and a bunch of other films (DC and Marvel alike) starting production back up, Warner Brothers wanted to give the fans a new look at what they have in stores of their fan base. With it now being a two day event (August 22nd and September 4th), they showed their fans what the Cinematic Universe has in store for its fans as well as a few new games in development (Suicide Squad and Batman newest game). While you did have to sign in/create a DC account to watch this, lots of fanboys and girls were treated to trailers and first looks at films like Matt Reeves "The Batman", Zach Snyder's cut of Justice League, James Gunn Suicide Squad 2, Andy Muschietti's Flash film, a New Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman 1984 trailer, and updates on Shazam 2, Aquaman 2 and even a special appearance of Black Adam himself, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The Batman:
Matt Reeve's himself was featured to go over what was filmed (before the pandemic) and showed up a teaser to hold us DCCU heads over until the film is completed. The Batman will continue its production in early September with a global release on October 1st, 2021. According to DC Films president Walter Hamada, The Batman is not official part of the DCEU; however, it is a part of a different universe within the DC Multiverse. Barry Allen (The Flash) will have a hand in really piecing the DCEU multiverse puzzle together in Andy Muschietti's The Flash (2022). Not only will we see, Robert Pattinson's Batman/Bruce Wayne, Ben Affleck (Batman V Superman 2016) and Michael Keaton (1989 Batman) will be present in this flashpoint affected DC Multiverse.
No More Lies! This message is outlined throughout the teaser as the main antagonist (The Riddler) points out corruption within Gotham City and its police department. Organized crime is running rapid throughout HIS city and only Vengeance can supersede this organization. From your secret friend, haven't a clue... let's play a game, just ME and YOU. Bruce Wayne (only in his second year as the capped crusader) must tackle a way to figure out how to be Batman in a way that he can make a significant difference in "HIS" city (Gotham City). Matt Reeve puts it as such, when unjustified murders start to happen, it begins to describe the sort of history that Gotham hides a dark and mysterious world of corruption that takes it much farther than he realizes. Reeves and Pattinson's take on this new version of Batman isn't as veteran as Keaton (1989 Batman) or Affleck (2016 Batman v Superman) but in his own world that he chariest vengeance over justice without a care for its consequences.
On top of this news, DC FanDome also introduced us to the other family members of the Gotham Dark Knight club. A new game by the creators of the Batman: Arkham games called Batman: Gotham Knights. Batman is officially dead. It is up to the Batman Family, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin to protect Gotham city. They must bring back hope in a shattered city to discipline its cops and strike fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.

Justice League: Zach Snyder cut
For years, many fans have protested, that they wanted Warner Bros. to release Zach Snyder's version of DC's Justice League (2017). Earlier this year, Snyder confirmed that this was green-lit and the DC fans don't have to wait long for a rumored release date of spring 2021 only on HBO MAX. Due to his {Snyder] daughter passing away, Joss Whedon had to step in as director to finish what the studio wanted as a film. Unfortunately it wasn't what Snyder nor any of the DC fan base wanted. Zach add lots of shot footage as well as completely redid Steppenwolf as his original design as well as making Darkseid more open and out front in this trailer. According to sources, this film will total four (4) hours in length over four (4) one (1) hour long episodes for HBO MAX.
Don't care how many demons he's fought in how many hells, he's never fought us. Not US UNITED! The Snyder cut of Justice League is a great film to see how it could've been if the studio didn't get in the way; however, we acknowledge that this is a different take that the outcome of said DCCU won't really change in the scope The Batman (2021) or The Flash (2022) would change it.

James Gunn Suicide Squad 2:
The Suicide Squad is a part of the DCCU for some time now and has been playing with a sequel to the David Ayer's Suicide Squad (2016). The first big film project James Gunn has directed since his ousted firing from Disney back in 2018. Seems to replace a few parts of the first film while adding many new faces and characters of the DCU that many haven't seen before. Gunn [James] connected virtually to give the DC fans not so much of a trailer of this film, but a roll call of characters whom will be featured in this film. This sequel will hit theaters August 6th of 2021.
This roll call teaser shows the fans whom will join Harley Quin in this sequel. Gunn did give us a behind the scenes tease of the film later on in the presentation. We see the likes of Idris Elba as Bloodsport, John Cena as Peacemaker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Nathan Fillion as TDK, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and many more. This is the first time that Gunn and Warner Bros. have announced any new characters in the film. With the addition of these new characters we feel like they are cannon for being expendable casualties of this film.
They have also showed five (5) minutes of the new Suicide Squad game (developed by Rockstedy).

Future of the DCCU:
The future of the DCCU is brighter than ever thanks to new updates to the likes of Shazam 2, Aquaman 2, The Flash and Black Adam. As for Shazam 2, they have reveal that this will now go by Shazam: Fury of the Gods and will include actor and comedy Sinbad will be joining the returning cast from the first film. More to this film will be coming out soon, but we do have a title and a "prominent" new cast member. Barring any unforeseen delays, the movie will arrive Nov. 4, 2022.
The Flash (2022)
Ezra Miller is set to star in his first major superhero solo film that seems to set the stakes of the "Reboot" of the DCCU on his shoulders. Confirming that we will have two (2) Bruce Wayne/Batman's in this film, it will shape up to be the glue to whole all the DC Films that have been released inside a DC Multiverse. The Flash speeds to theaters in 2022; however, production will begin early 2021. The Flash has been one of the longest-gestating DC film projects. The superhero’s standalone film has suffered numerous starts and stops as it was expected to hit theaters many years ago. Andy Muschetti stated in his virtual panel that both Batman's will play key roles to help Barry Allen (Miller) while he speeds through different timelines via time travel (time vortex) through the film.

Black Adam:
During this DC FanDome event, the DC fanboys and girls were treated to a very special guest. He is every well-known and is the highest paid actor out there today, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He gives you the very first look at the Black Adam logo, suit and his backstory that will be hitting theaters sometime in 2021. Black Adam centers around Dwayne's character finally breaking free from his chains to strike back at those whom put them there in the first place. This is an origin story like no other and seems to be the change that will bring more "gods" to light in the DCCU.

Sonic seeks out Prey over Harley and her Birds
Over the Valentine's Day weekend, the movie theaters were buzzing with applause by the audience. This applause didn't come from Harley and her crew, but one small blue hedgehog names Sonic! Even though, Harley and her crew opened up last weekend, February 7th, they still couldn't capture the second weekend of its release. Birds of Prey came in at the number two (2) spot in this weekend’s box office numbers followed by Blumhouse's Fantasy Island. Rounding out the other top spots are The Photograph (fourth) and Bad Boys for Life (fifth).
Sonic the Hedgehog snatches the top spot like a golden coin from Harley and the Birds of Prey squad. Making an astonishing seventy million ($70 Million) dollars for a thirty (30) + year old video game movie over a four day holiday weekend; however, with its weekend numbers (Feb.14-16th) it blasts past last year’s Detective Pikachu ($54.36 Million). The studio only projected this film to make a surprisingly low forty (40) million dollars over the weekend. Sonic delivered a crushing blow to those forecasted projections with a sensational debut.
The reviews of this film are mixed; however, it narrowly finished in the "Fresh" territory of Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences; however, love this film, garnered a solid "A" rating from Cinemascore which in turn helped its Rotten Tomatoes score with a 95% over its opening weekend from over 4,000 ratings. Looking at its future, Sonic has a two (2) week window before the highly anticipating Pixar/Disney fantasy animated film Onward hits theaters. Sonic will most likely break the one hundred million dollar mark before then.
Sonic the Hedgehog is based on the popular 90's Sega video game about a blue speedster collecting coins from the evil Dr. Robotnik and foiling his master plan of ruling the world. The film is loosely based off this game; however, with more of a human element thrown in. After discovering a fast, blue hedgehog, a small town police officer must keep him safe from the hands of Doctor Robotnik from doing experiments on him. This film is fun for all ages and for those whom grow up with Sonic in the early 90's, it feels more like a stroll down memory lane. Jim Carrey (Robotnik) brings his 90's and 00's comedy act back to the big screen and it works wonders. Jim [Carrey] kills his performance making his comedic style match his mid-late 90’s character but with more flare and development. James Marsden and Ben Schwartz (Sonic) are phenomenal in this as well. Look for this film out now in theaters nationwide.
Box Office Update:

Quinn breaks from Joker
This weekend, Birds of Prey, hits theaters to a projected opening weekend budget of somewhere north of forty/fifty million dollars. Harley Quinn and company are back to tell you a tale of when Harley isn't chained to Joker anymore. Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn feels more fleshed out and a stronger character than she was in 2016's Suicide Squad. We do get introduce to a few new characters inside the DCEU that we haven't seen on the big screen (not including the TV shows'). Renee Montoya (played by Rosie Perez), Huntress (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Black Canary (played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell join Harley on her journey to protect a girl from the villainous Roman "Black Mask" Sionis (played by Ewen McGregor) and his evil criminal organization that is terrorizing Gotham. This film is a non-stop action film that gives the audience what they are looking for in a female lead team-up film from DC. While Marvel is still feeling out their own female lead superhero film (Black Widow), DC already beat them to the punch with Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey. Despite not having the likes of Poison Ivy, Cat-woman, and a few other well-known DC characters, Birds of Prey still hits hard while giving you more to a DC superhero film than before. Bird of Prey gives the audience great action set pieces with a splash of comedic timing and a side of adventure that a DC film hasn’t truly given you. We get to see firsthand, what it's like to live like a gothemite and see Harley Quinn at her most vulnerable and deadliest, while still kicking some butt at the same time.
UPDATE: As of Saturday morning, Birds of Prey underwhelms with $33 Million for opening weekend (projected). This opening, if it stands, will be the lowest of the DC films (second to DC's Shazam). With a certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes of 80%, Harley and company will look to upset some studio members with a disappointed box office opening. With many people focused on the Oscars Sunday night, it looks to bounce back next weekend
We [at Next Dimension Production], highly recommend to go see this film. For us, it feels like a right way to go for DC and it brings a new look on Harley Quinn and company. If you love Deadpool 1 & 2 (Marvel/Fox), you will definitely love this film. We will be reviewing this film in the coming week and looking for release this review this week.

Almost right after these nominations were announced, lots of people were unhappy with some nominations. For example, "The Daily Show's" Trevor Noah slammed the all-male director’s noms for not mentioning the director Greta Gerwig (Little Women) that should be included in as a nomination. Another issue most people have about the Oscar's and their nominations, is that it again is being white male washed taking a step back from last year’s historic number of women taking home awards. Outside of all of these controversy, lots of films have many nominations for different categories this year. Joker edged out for most nominations edging out The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with eleven (11) and The Irishman (Netflix) has ten (10). The Irishman ties Roma (Netflix) for most nominations from a streaming service heading into this awards ceremony. Please catch the Oscar's on February 9th of 2020 on ABC (Disney partner) at 8:00pm. Taking place in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre without a host, just like last year. Please look at our choices above in Underline for each category for the Oscars. You can choose your own winners you think will win each category for the Oscars this year below:

DC News Update: The Batman loaded cast
Since the recent release of the new Joker film and since the holiday has ended, DC has been stacking the deck against Batman for his new solo film, The Batman (2021). Only a handful of cast members have made its rounds (confirmed) and others are just rumors for now. The likes of Robert Pattinson as the title character himself, Jeffery Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman cast earlier in 2019. Recently, in the last few months and weeks, we have received word that more cast members have been confirmed.
Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler
After many different rumors from different actors bidding for this role, like Stanly Tucci and Sebastian Stan (MCU's Becky Barnes). This past October, it was released that Paul Dano has been cast to play the Riddler in Matt Reeves The Batman film. Paul Dano acting resume is semi-long and features roles in 12 Years a Slave (2013), Prisoner (2013) and Looper (2012) as well as the TV mini-series, Escape at Dannemora (2018).
We believe he will bring more to the Riddler character than before. I see him as a blend of Jim Carry's Riddler and Cory Michael Smith's Riddler on how comical Jim's version was and how psychotic Cory's version was. We can't wait to see what Matt [Reeves] has in store for this Riddler.

Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth
Andy is a very busy actor and most of our favorites for films nowadays. From Motion capturing Caesar in the Planet of the Apes reboots to entering the MCU as Ulysses Klau, he has a long resume of acting roles. Playing Alfred Pennyworth might be the one he will get nominated for a supporting Oscar (in our opinions). Alfred Pennyworth has been the backbone of Batman's/Bruce's life since the creation of the Detective series of comic's in the early days of the comic world. Alfred has been played by greats over the years; however, for him, it will be hard to top their performances. We look forward to see him play this iconic character in 2021.

Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin
The most talked about confirmed casting choice in this film, Colin Farrell. Adding a Golden Globe winner into a DC film will make this new take on Batman go the distance and will break the box office for DC again. Both Josh Gad and Jonah Hill both tried out for this role; ultimately, Colin Farrell gave a better performance and nabbed the role as Matt Reeve confirmed early last week. The Penguin was recently played by Robin Lord Taylor and in the Tim Burton film, Batman Returns (1992) by Danny DeVito. Colin isn't a stranger in the DC world. He in fact auditioned for the role of Batman in the never produced Batman vs Superman that Wolfgang Petersen was developing. We can't wait to see how he fairs in comparison with the actors that came before him in this damp and dark world of Gotham.

All in all we can't wait to see how these elements pan out in this new Matt Reeves take on the Batman. We are now hearing word that this film will be set in the early 1990's and it will be set in the early days of Batman's detective era. Much like his beginnings of his comic book days, this is an early Batman era film whereas Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton's Batman played a much more veteran and grizzled caped crusader. Recently there have been talks that Matthew McConaughey to play Harvey Dent in this film(rumored) and he will eventually become Two-Face in the sequel. Nothing is confirmed at this point, so in the next few weeks and months, it will come to light. Currently The Batman (2021) is in production in London at the moment and will look to be released on June 25th of 2021.
Breaking News: New Mutants trailer drops with Frighten Success!!
For a little over two years now, The New Mutant's film (final X-men film from Twentieth Century Fox) was thought to be DOA since the Fox and Disney merger was announced. Today, marks a frighten new life blood to an end of an era of said X-Men franchise before it’s rebooted under the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). From the first trailer (2017), everyone was very interested in what this film has in store for the audience. This trailer; however, brings new light to those theories and brightest up the film on what it is about. Please check out the newest trailer below and we also have the first trailer that was dropped back in 2017 (October).
This film is about five young mutants, whom just discovered their abilities, must survive their past sins and themselves all while being held against their will inside an unknown secret facility. Once the first trailer dropped, the fans of the X-Men franchise were going to get a real horrifying treat in the last film of the franchise. This film will have a horror/suspense feel to it and both trailers show that. The first one was more of a dark horror film and the second trailer; however, seems to tone the horror down a little adding more to the story. There is something new to Fear! This film seems to line up with an internal force that the new mutants have to battle both within and outside of themselves. Back in mid-2019, Disney wasn't impressed on this film itself and order reshoots. As of today, Disney and Fox (twentieth Century) are going to release this film without any reshoots and will keep the footage in place, the way director Josh Boone wanted it.
We [Next Dimension] can't wait to see this and will provide our commentary on this factor. We will say this now, The New Mutants will make a bigger splash that the Dark Phoenix did earlier this year. One shocking bit of information that have gotten, this film will show lots of new mutants that we might not have seen throughout the whole X-Men franchise. This New Mutants will be Twentieth Century Fox's swan song to the X-Men universe and it will be you a new take, feel and look on the horror side of the X-Men.

Duel Entries for our Independent Film corner reviews
Over the recent weeks and months, with lots of entries to our Independent Film corner review section, we love to review every single Independent film out there today; however, it is almost impossible. We will most definitely get to those who are a great following and promote the heck out of their film piece. We don't pick films at random, they must have something that catches our eye creativity and drives us to want more. With this being said, we would like to announce that we have two (2) independent films that we selected that has the embodiment of what Next Dimension likes in films, a Great Story and Character Development. Without further a due, we have selected the award winning "We Die Alone" directed by Marc Cartwright starting Baker Chase Powell.
We Die Alone:
Aidan, a young man crippled by loneliness and insecurity, wants nothing more than to experience love, but he compulsively ghosts any connections he makes through dating sites. Aidan's co-worker Elaine, generous with her advice and kindness to a fault, encourages him to put himself out there -- although, in her heart of hearts, she wishes he would pick up on her feelings for him. Everything changes when Chelsea, beautiful and distant, moves into the apartment across the hall from Aidan's. The two feel an instant connection based on their refusal to engage in social norms, and bond over an unusual hobby. This chance encounter throws Aidan into a spiral of dangerous infatuation that will alter all three of their lives. Touching on themes of loneliness, obsession, and the brutal nature of relationships, We Die Alone assesses the aftermath of what happens when three isolated people with different ideas of love become dangerously entwined.

Our second selection to our Independent film corner is no stranger of making short films since this person has been creating them for over twenty (20) years. We [Next Dimension Productions] are grateful to announce that Ross Williams' short film, Luna, has been selected to be featured on the Independent Corner film section. Ross found his production company, XRats production in 2002 (17 years ago) and has been going stronger than ever today. If you haven't heard of these guys before, they are very well known on the West Coast and here to tell you about himself is Ross Williams' himself.
Here is a little bit of the company’s backstory and I find it similar to how Next Dimension Films became.
XRATS Productions was founded in Seattle, WA in 2002 by Filmmaker Ross Williams himself. When he wrote & directed his first short film eRATicate. Over the next five years, Ross produced a variety of personal film projects, including Music Videos, Commercials, and Short Films, culminating in 2007 with his personal feature-length documentary The Turning Point.
In the years following, Ross moved with his family to Ashland, OR. His wife Kristan worked a full-time job, while Ross was a stay-at-home dad. During those years Ross began to take on work as a freelance editor and cameraman, further honing his craft. XRATS took on a large variety of new clients and continued to produce original video projects of all kinds.
XRATS Productions is now a full-time & full-service video production company based in Talent, Oregon. Working on a large variety of business and personal video projects around Southern Oregon and Northern California.
As for his short film, Luna, we have watched it and we can say it is a great short film at a low cost to make. BREAKING NEWS: The Little Mermaid casts Prince Eric
After months of speculation and countless actors bidding for the well-known Prince, the role has been cast. This casting is one of many announcements over the last few months with the likes of Jacob Tremblay (Good Boys) as Flounder, Halle Bailey (Last Holiday and Grown'ish) as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy (The Happytime Murders and 2016's Ghostbusters) as Ursula, and Awkwafina (2019's Jumanji: The Next Level) as Scuttle. They're rumors and reports that Javier Bardem (2017's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) circling the rounds as Ariel's father King Triton. With limited film appearances to his name, Jonah Hauer-King has been cast as Prince Eric in this live action tale The Little Mermaid.
This announcement has come just in time for the recent release of the new streaming service, Disney+, and right off the backs of the live performance of The Little Mermaid on 6ABC (Disney) to make most Little Mermaid fans happy. The Little Mermaid (live action) film has no release date as of yet; however, this film has been in pre-production for a little while now and casting has not fully been revealed. With all these Superhero films from the newly acquired Marvel, Disney still has their share of live action series universe to contend with. While the Lion King's live action adaption was pander a success to most Disney fans (1.6 Billion$ worldwide), Maleficent sequel "Mistress of Evil" didn't even come close to the number that the Lion King made. While they're talks of many more Disney live action films in development, Milan (March 2020), Snow White (Release To Be Determined) and Cruella (Emma Stone as the titled villain), Disney wants to make the Little Mermaid a massive hit and more profitable than any Disney live action film (from animation) before.
While test screening along with Krypton's actor Cameron Cuffe, at Pinewood Studios back in September, Hauer-King was ultimately picked in the end. While Harry Styles was rumored to play Prince Eric; however, he would later decline the role despite of all his fans clamoring for him to play the role. His casting as this role brings more of a new flare to an old tale.
The casting of Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric is just icing on the cake with an already great cast (both confirmed and rumored) that his addition will be greatly needed for his acting career. With only a few films to his name, The Little Mermaid, may be the biggest film in his career to date. Jonah has now gained access to the House of Mouse and will be a star and we will see how his chemistry with Hallie Bailey's Ariel is once this film releases. With this new addition to the cast, I believe this will be a massive hit whenever it comes out. This film will bring old and new Disney fans to love this tale of a Mermaid that would do anything to win the heart of someone whom she adores even if it means being fully human to find him.

Breaking News: Lindsey Wallace and company return to Face the Shape
Another Original character has come home to the Halloween franchise. It looks like Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace will be reunited from the events of the original Halloween (1978). Both will be returning to the franchise that kicked off their character careers. Unlike Tommy Doyle, who is being played by Anthony Michael Hall, Lindsey Wallace will be played by now other than Kyle Richards. Yes, Kyle Richards who played little Lindsey Wallace from the original Halloween forty (40) years ago. Kyle is only one out of three actors/actresses to return to the franchise, next to Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle (The Shape). Also joining the cast is Robert Longstreet whom is playing Tommy's long time school bully Lonnie Elam. Yes, that same kid that made Tommy crush his pumpkin and was to scared to enter the Myers house all by himself in the original Halloween. Please look below on the update Casting list of whom will be appearing in Halloween Kills (2020) according to CinemaBlend.com
Jamie Lee Curtis - Laurie Strode Jamie Lee Curtis got her start in the original Halloween and she's been inextricably linked to the franchise ever since. There was no way that rebooting the franchise was going to work without bringing back Laurie Strode. She was a woman who had been dealing with the trauma of the original film's events her entire life, and not very well. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to the fact that the fight isn't over yet.
James Jude Courtney/Nick Castle - The Shape Nick Castle was the original man behind the mask in the original Halloween. The actor was brought back in one shot of the more recent film, but he also plays the "voice" of Michael Myers as the breathing sounds, which are all we ever hear from the character, also came from Castle. The writer and director has confirmed that he'll be returning for Halloween Kills.
James Jude Courtney played Michael Myers in the rest of the new Halloween, and will put the mask on once again. for the next movie. Having survived the events of 2018's Halloween, it would appear he'll be free from the start, and probably looking for revenge.
Andi Matichak - Allyson Nelson While Laurie Strode was a major part of the new Halloween, the real main character of the film was Laurie's granddaughter Allyson. She's the one who is stalked by Michael Myers throughout the new film and has most of her friends murdered. How will Allyson have changed after going through such a traumatic experience? She and grandma now have a lot in common.
Judy Greer - Karen Nelson Karen is Laurie Strode's daughter and she will once again be played by the incomparable Judy Greer. Karen spends most of 2018's Halloween in a Christmas sweater because she hates Halloween, thanks to growing up with her obsessed mother. However, all the combat training Karen got as a child comes in handy when Michael Myers really does come back. Now that mother and daughter are likely on the same page, the family dynamic is set for a very big change.
Anthony Michael Hall - Tommy Doyle Anthony Michael Hall is new to the Halloween franchise, but the character he will be playing is not. Hall will portray Tommy Doyle, the child that Laurie Strode was babysitting on the night of Michael Myers' original attack. Doyle is now all grown up and will apparently re-enter the life of his old babysitter. Interestingly, Tommy Doyle also returned as an adult in the original round of Halloween sequels, and was played by Paul Rudd. It seems unlikely that will have any specific influence on this version of the character, but who knows.
Kyle Richards - Lindsey Wallace While Laurie Strode was babysitting Tommy Doyle in 1978's Hallloween, Laurie's friend Annie was across the street babysitting Lindsey Wallace. Annie wasn't lucky on that night, but little Lindsey did survive, and like Tommy, she'll be back in Halloween Kills. The big difference here, is that Lindsey will be played by Kyle Richards, the same actress who played the role as a child back in 1978.
Robert Longstreet - Lonnie Elam Robert Longstreet may be best remembered recently for his role as Mr. Dudley in The Haunting of Hill House, he'll also be seen in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King's Doctor Sleep. After that, however, he'll join Halloween Kills as another character seen in the very first film. Bloody Disgusting recently revealed Longstreet will play Loonie Elam. Lonnie was a kid who bullied Tommy Doyle in the first film, and very nearly entered the old Myers house on a dare. How Lonnie will appear in the new movie is anybody's guess, but it does look like Halloween Kills is set to be a major character reunion movie.

No one's Laughing Now!: Final Joker Trailer
Extra! Extra! Read all about! Arthur Fleck fails Standup Comedy as he fails himself! Warner Brothers have released the final trailer of Todd Phillip's Joker. This trailer, unlike the recently released teaser trailer, give us more footage, more laughs and a much better outlook on the story. Watching this a few times, you get the sense of how hard Arthur has it in this 1970's Gotham setting with crooked and corrupt authority figures and one you might know so well. Todd Phillips (The Hangover films) paints Arthur as normal person turned mental terrorist throughout this trailer. From his mother becoming sick to his failed standup comedy act, something snaps inside Arthur's mind. According to some sources, this film is based off of Alan Moore's Batman: The Killing Joke graphic novel depicting a failed comedian and family man that has "one bad day." We can't wait to see this gritty, mind melting and dark version of the Joker and the one person who could do it, Todd Phillips can.

Tommy Comes Home!: Tommy Doyle rejoins the Halloween Universe
Tommy has come home to meet his maker. From that very night, watching the boogieman stalk him, his baby sitter and Lindsay, Tommy Doyle has been prepared for this moment when he comes face to face with the Shape. We [Audience] have seen a few variations of the character Tommy Doyle, from Brian Andrews (1978) to Marvel's Ant Man star Paul Rudd (Part 6) and even Skyler Gisondo's remade version (Rob Zombie's Halloween 2007). Set to play the role of a now adult Tommy Doyle, will be none other than Anthony Michael Hall (Weird Science, The Dark Knight and The Breakfast Club).
John [Carpenter] and David [Gordon Green] will be continuing the aftermath of that faithful night when Laurie (Curtis) finally overcame her demons and put Michael to rest or so she thought. The only cast that has announced for this sequel (Halloween Kills) are Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen, Laurie's granddaughter Allyson, and the Shape Michael Myers. Now that Tommy has come back in to the world of Halloween, it will be very interesting to see how he pans out in helping Laurie and company finally take down Michael and end his spree once and for all.
More to follow in the next coming months. Look for Halloween Kills to be released on October 16, 2020. We have a long while to wait; however, a re-watch the 2018 Halloween is a must this Halloween season to get your blood pumping.

Breaking News: Carpenter to Score Halloween Sequels
Fall and Halloween is right around the corner and since summer is almost at an end. Blumhouse and company have recently confirmed that Horror legend and Icon John Carpenter (director of OG Halloween [1978]) is back for two (2) more Michael Myers films. John [Carpenter] scored and executive produced the smash Slasher hit Halloween (2018) that is the highest grossing Slasher film racking in a little over 255 Million dollars worldwide. Carpenter is coming back to not only produce these films, but he will bring his musical scoring abilities to these films as well. Setting the stage from his musical score, he will bring a new sound while keeping the original score alive and well. John Carpenter, who scores his films, he told ComicBook, "I loved it. Breaking News: News Independent short film Selection for Indie Corner!
Throughout the years, Next Dimension Productions have been reviewing many films and some have made the cut to be featured on our site. Many directors and producers spend countless hours, days, months, and years completing their vision of a story that they love so much that they would create a film that would stand the test of time. One fellow director that we would love to see more is Marc Cartwright. He is such a creative, driven and outstanding director that he puts his characters in an emotional roller coaster that revival any Hollywood film. With a background in photography, he branched out into director different films and video projects that are so creative and inspiring. Not only did he start directing films, he also co-founded his own production company, Glass Cabin Films, LLC. He also loves to work with those who has acted for him before as loyalty is key for him. For instance, Baker Chase Powell, has been in a few short films with him as a director and they are both are outstanding, picturesque, and very imaginative in a way that would compare to Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese.
We, Next Dimension Production, are so proudly to announce that Marc Cartwright's latest short film, We Die Alone (2019), is officially selected to be the next film to be review under our Indie Corner banner. We have reviewed their other short film, Vexed (2016), and was a hit to our viewers. We can't wait to share our review of this film to the public and can't wait to see this bright and creative talent like Marc and his team do more films in the future.

Super fun at SDCC: Mount of Cinematic Underestimation
San Diego’s Comic Con has come and gone with lots of gems dropping from the fourth Phase of the MCU to a sequel thirty (30) years in the making and some hidden pieces that will open your eyes to the next year or so of comic book and non-comic book films.
MCU Phase 4 line up:
Marvel has revealed the next phase of Marvel films, post Endgame model. Marvel phase 4 will continue after Spider-Man: Far From Home and will see a new cast of characters that we really never seen on the big screen before (and some returning). On May 1st of 2020, we finally get to see Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff back story before the very first Avengers film, Black Widow (2020). Currently in production, this film will set the stage on what will become a "Space" phase in the MCU going forward. We can't wait to see what new characters (Photo below) will pop up in this new film.
Later on that same year, the highly anticipating film starring Angelina Jolie, The Eternals (2020) will be released on November 5th, 2020. Chloe Zhao will be directing this film with little to be known about this film. Outside of Angelina Jolie being cast in this film, we have Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Don Lee and Bryan Tyree Henry just to name a few. Starting production in August of 2019, here is the cast and their roles; Salma Hayek as Ajax, leader of the Eternals, Richard Madden as Ikaris (based on Icarus), Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo Sunen, Bryan Tyree Henry as Phastos (based on Hephaestus), Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh (also known as the Forgotten One in comics), and Lauren Ridloff as Makkari.
As we move into 2021, a few films that we know of for the MCU Phase 4 are Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). This is very much an interesting addition to the MCU itself as it takes us back to the ten rings from the first Ironman film. This story will follow Shang-Chi as he battles the real Mandarin (not the copycat from Ironman 3). Tony Leung will play the Mandarin and Canadian star Simu Liu will play the title role. We can't wait to see how this story and film develops over time and if this story hold true, this film will be a hit. Look for this to be released on February 12, 2021.

As we return to the world of the Mystic Arts, Dr. Strange is in a world of hurt in his future with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The new film, set after Avengers: Endgame, will explore the multiverse first hinted at in Spider-Man: Far from Home, and will be Marvel’s first attempt at something more akin to a horror film. The director himself (Scott Derrickson) informed the audience of Hall H that this film will be the first scary film of the MCU. This puts to bed that the X-Men driven "The New Mutants" will be put on the shelve until after this film's release due to the scary elements and that Doctor Strange 2 will be the MCU's first scary film. Doctor Strange won't be terrified alone. The new series, WandaVision (Spring 2021), and its events will tie directly to this new Strange film. Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlett Witch will join Stranger in this madness we call the Multiverse.
Another massive film that was announced is the return of Taika Waititi to the director’s chair of Thor: Love and Thunder (2021). Releasing on November 5th, 2021, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be back to reprise their roles as well as Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman in Thor: The Dark World) returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One key thing to take away from this announcement, is not the return of Jane Foster; however, she will be playing Thor.
We will also see the return of our beloved characters returning to the small screen with Lori (played by Tom Hiddleston). This series will feature Lori as the lead character during the events of Endgame (Non-spoiler). This series will premiere in the spring of 2021. Also in the spring of that same year, we will see WandaVision. WandaVision will dive deep inside The Scarlett Witches headspace after losing her boyfriend and being dusted five (5) years ago. We also will see a familiar face from Captain Marvel, Monica.
Before these two series premiere, we will see The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, staring both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as title roles. We also know that the villain will be Baron Zemo from Captain America: Civil War. This series will be released in the fall of 2020.
In the summer of 2021, we will get to see an animated series What If... This is a series that looks at all the alternate possibilities and roads-not-taken throughout the history of the MCU. Kevin Feige explained" All of those set in stone MCU scenes and experiences you’ve seen before, you will see different versions of them in this" The cast of this series will see all voice actors and actress' return such as Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, and etc.
Speaking of Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, he will return to the small screen in Hawkeye (Fall 2021). Not much is known about this series; however, it will focus on him (Jeremy Renner) training another hero with no powers, Kate Bishop.
Last, but not least, we will be getting a new Blade (TBD) in the form of Mahershala Ali. Nothing is known about this series other than the title character being cast and the platform it will premiere on (Disney+) but we are very interested in what Disney and Marvel will do with this character. We are still holding out hope that we will finally get a crossover with Blade and Spider-Man's Morbius (we almost got for Blade II).

As for the rest of canon films, I.E. X-Men, Captain Marvel 2, The Fantastic Four and etc. most of the focus was on the next phase of the MCU. Given their [Disney] newly acquired film rights, they did mention that "The Mutant's" and "Fantastic Four" are in development but never gave the fans an update. In our opinion, these properties, as well as others, will factor into the ending of this phase and into the next. We have a funny feeling that the new shows developed for Disney+ will have tie in’s as well as hints at what is to come after these films have been released. Keep your eyes and ears open for new updated content here first. More to follow in the next few days.
Summer of Stranger Things
EndGame of Thrones: Recap of Season 8
With the highly anticipating Season 8 coming to a close this past weekend, lots of fans of the series weren't to happy with this last outing for Jon Snow and company. Many fans have felt that the lack luster season (only six episode long) wasn't enough to satisfy those fans and some fans felt it was a pretty good season for its last. For almost waiting two(2) years, fans couldn't wait for Game of Thrones to come back and now many of those same fans seem like this last season was not worth that wait. Even Kit Harington, plays Jon Snow, tweeted some fine chose of words to all of those fans who hated the season. Many of whom, have signed a petition to remake season 8 with competent writers. Many actors and actress' felt that this petition was disrespectful to those writers of all six(6) episodes and have stand by them through the whole way. With all that transpired this season, from the betrayals to the many small errors in production, we will discuss this season and the impact of the GOT Universe in the future.
Welcome back to Derry Maine
Welcome back to where it all started from. In 1990, Steven King and his loser club set to embark on a mystery of missing kids throughout this good ole American town in Maine. The Loser found themselves in the fight of their lives with the scary, sadistic and savage Pennywise the clown. Staring fear and death in their faces, the Loser club pervaded and vanquished their fear and Pennywise, only to come back 27 years later.
In 2017, the Loser's club came back on this new take of horror and suspense. One of the best remakes of a Steven Kings novels and a more adult friendly film. As Billy and the rest of the Loser club come to terms with themselves, school relations and in fighting, the come face to face with a more sadistic and frightening Pennywise. After brutally murdering Billy's younger brother, George, the Loser club banded together to destroy evil once and for all. Just like what John Carpenter said, "You truly can't kill evil. It is out there, everywhere."
Fast forward to twenty-seven years later, the Lose club has grown up and find themselves unwillingly back in the town they grow up in, Derry, Maine. Billy and the rest find that things are right in their world and have found themselves back there for a reason. They must get rid of their past demons and take care of Pennywise once and for all. They have grown up and after receiving a devastating call, they must face their own fears and overcome evil.

The Game to End it all: A historic box office hit
Now as all the dust settles and all said and done, the directors of Avengers: Endgame wanted to make this film one last final stand for all the avengers in the past ten plus years. They did not disappoint, but now we are to wonder what next movie in the next few phases can top this one. In only six (6) days, this film as grossed 1.480 billion dollars (as of April 30th) and breaking more records along the way. Everyone to coming out in droves to witness a miracle of a film. The Russo brothers have been very vocal on this film on not spoiling this film and sending out media to the public to not spoil it for others, just in Avengers: Infinity War. This time last year, another Avengers film was smashing box office records and now, fast forward almost a year later and this latest installment blow it out of the water.
By the Numbers
So far globally (based on a six [6] day total) Endgame has broken many records, both domestically and internationally. One record they broke, was previously held by its counterpart, Infinity War. Endgame's opening weekend (Thursday-Sunday) made 357 million dollars (domestically) and 866 million dollars (foreign/internationally) totally a worldwide gross opening of 1.2 billion dollars overall. Smashing Infinity War's opening day domestic by 100 million dollars (Infinity War opening day gross 257 million dollars) and nearly doubling the previous international box office opener (The Fate and the Furious)[443 million dollars] at 866 million dollars. As for the all-time gross opening, Avenger's: Endgame is currently ranked 8th on the overall with only a week's worth of gross. Our prediction, it will move up to beat Star Wars: The Force Awakens (3rd) and Avengers: Infinity War (4th) by months out.

Future of the MCU
Without spoiling it for those who have invested ten (10) plus years with these movies, the future of the MCU (after Spiderman Far From Home) is not determined by the end of this film. This film is almost like the “be all to end all films” of the MCU. The future of these MCU films are somewhat known (I.E Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2 and etc.); however, the stories and their structures are left in the dark. Having their fans create fun and exciting theories that may or may not pan out correctly; however, this is the first time that the viewer is left with completion of a saga. It also gets them wondering what's next for the Avengers and their future (if they survived this EndGame). This is not the last film in this current phase(3); however, it would be very interesting to see who and what films are on the horizon now that Fox's characters (X-men, Fantastic Four, and Etc.) will be joining the fray.
In conclusion
If you haven't seen this film by this weekend, what are you waiting for! As per the Russo brothers, the "Thanos demands your silence" no spoiling ban will be lifted by Monday, May 6th. If you don't want those people on social media to spoil it for you (if they haven't done so already), than go out and see this film. This film will be number one(1) at the box offices for the next few weekends (maybe get destroyed by Godzilla at the end of this month); furthermore, it will be inside the top five(5) top grossing movies of all time.

The Jokes is on you, Thanos!
After much speculation, Marvel drops a special look teaser for this months film. It looks to be only from the first act of the film; however, lots of speculation as to if this footage is real or fake, just to throw us off their trail. As soon as tickets went on sale for End Game, every single Marvelite grabbed their tickets for this conclusion of last May's Infinity War film. Smashing the box office pre-sale of tickets in just six (6) hours, previously held by Disney's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, End Game solidifies itself as the must watch film of this year. Please take a look at the newest footage below. We won't be spoiling anything in regards to this film, whether being rumors or facts, everyone show go out and see how Ironman, Captain America and the rest of the Avenger, Avenge the Fallen!
While the rest of the Avengers are avenging the fallen, DC is shaking things up with Joaquin Phoenix's Joker film. The teaser trailer has dropped and the early buzz around this trailer is to setup a more of a dark and sadistic comedy much removed from Jared Leto's and more towards Jack Nicholson's and Heath Leadger's Joker's. This film has some much potential that doesn't give much away much like the latter's trailer. Please check this out below and we believe this film will give the DC a more realistic edge than movies before. Avengers: End Game releases on Apirl 26th 2019, tickets on sale now, and Joker releases on October 4th of 2019.
The Vile of a Rogue Redemption: Newest selections of the Indie Corner
While we are in the midst of the Academy award season, we want to announce a few Independent films that have been selected for our Indie Corner of the film review section. After some decision's, we have selected Carson Dahl's Vile (2019) and Christopher R. Notarile's Rogue Redemption (2019). Both of these short films either in post or production as we speak and have contact with the directors about this selection. They are thrilled and can't wait for our review for their short films.
Carson Dahl's Vile is about man named David who decides to take him and his family on a road trip to the countryside. While staying with his brother, David investigate some unexplained and terrifying memories in his old family home.

Christopher R Notarile doesn't have an official synopsis; however, after reviewing the trailer, it seems like Rouge, of the X-men, wants to find her true purpose while living within the X-Men family that she may or may not know is hers. Christopher and Blinky production has had their short films selected before and will continue to work with Chris and Blinky Productions on their fantastic line of short and long form films.
Please check out their trailers below and all information on these films as well.
Currently we are working on the Vile review and this will be out soon; however, as for the Rogue Redemption short film, we will have to wait until it is finished in order to review this piece.

Fantastic Win at the Box office
As the fall movie scene reaches its end, there have been a few hits and misses so far this fall season. This November we have already witnessed the opening of Queens bio-picture, Bohemian Rhapsody, the surprise hit, Boy Erased, and wondered the Wizarding World once again with Fantastic beast; however other great films have yet to release. These films have gained traction all over the media waves and for good reason. We are in the beginning stages of the Oscar bug and some of these November films might be worthy enough to grab a nomination. Recently, only a few films have been released that will garner a Oscar nomination. One of the being, J.K. Rollings, Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald.
Opening with an outstanding 250 million dollar worldwide against an estimated 200 million dollar budget, this will easily win another weekend or two(2) rolling into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. One of the few J.K Rollings films that haven't out shined its predecessor in recent years like The Deathly Hallows part 2 did with the first part. This film is a very exciting film to go see and if you want to be taken back to the Wizarding world once again, this is for you. If you are looking for a well solidified film with a full structured foundation, this film isn't for you. This film will make a lot of money over its run; however, it won't be as much as the latest chapter in the Harry Potter franchise (the Deathly Hallows). You will find a small Oscar nomination in this; however, it won't be for the acting, direction or picture, but more of a visual stand point that got the critics in awe.
Rocking to Bohemian Rhapsody the Oscar season
Queen are a classic rock legend group from the 70's/80's and their music still stands the test of time in the current years. They're aren't many well put together and structurally sound films like this one out there about a popular classic rock group like Queen. This film chronicles the life of a rockstar and the journey of Queen's frontman, Freddie Mercury, leading to their famous Live Aid (1985) concert. Out now (opened November 2nd [US]), this film has made an astounding 386 million dollars since its release with only a budget of 52 million dollars (estimated). Rami Malek (plays Freddie Mercury) portrayals one of the most famous legends of the rock world as best as he can. His look and feel he brings to the character is remarkably talented that he would most definitely grabs an Oscar nomination this coming season. This film will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions right from the get go and this may not be 100%, by the books, a true story; however, this film is worth sitting in theaters to be taking back to the 80's to relive the glory days of Queen.
The Creed of Breaking the Internet while a Boy is Erased
Nothing says a holiday movie release like Breaking the Internet with Wreck It Ralph. The long await sequel to the Wreck IT Ralph film of 2012. Releasing on the day before Thanksgiving (November 21st [US]), this is a much needed break for families to go see after those superhero movies of the summer and horror movies of October. Families will flock to this film this weekend instead of spending their hard earned money on post Thanksgiving weekend deals and steals. This film is projected to be a smash hit with audiences, young and old. This is a film that is definitely worth a best animated film or VFX nomination this coming Oscar season. In theaters now!!!!
Apollo Creed was a great friend and athlete to Rocky and the world. Following his son, Adonis Creed, Creed 2 follows him on his path of redemption with the help of Rocky to a fight no one saw coming. Adonis and Rocky witness the reemergence of the Russian bomber, Ivan Drago, with his son, Viktor Drago. Viktor and Adonis are on a collision course with each other that eerily mimic's the events Rocky had with Ivan (Rocky IV). With his back against the wall, Adonis, fighting for his fathers honor, has no choice but to fight for what is right, even if that means suffering the same fate as his father. Michael and Sylvester bring more then passion to this film and want to honor the story and fans of the Rocky/Creed movies with this film. They bring more heart, passion, and soul to these roles compared to the first Creed film. Creed 2 is easily an Oscar contender for Best picture, Actor/Actress and Supporting actor/actress this Oscar season. For those who love the Rocky and Creed movies and love an underdog story like this, you should definitely catch this film this weekend. Creed 2 (as well as Creed 1) shows the support of Philadelphia and the people of that city. This film is projected to rack in more money then the first film, overall, and will be a pinnacle of the Creed story.
The world of cinema has seen many movies showcasing the sides of people for the good and bad, race, creed, and sexuality; however, this film, Boy Erased, showcases all those together in one movie. Boy Erased is about a son of a baptist preacher forced to participate in a church-supported gay conversion program after being forcibly outed to his parents. Boy Erased will easily be an Oscar contender for best picture, screenplay and actor this coming season. With lots of LGBTQ films, this film hits the hearts of many in the LGBTQ community for being suppressed so long that society (today), as a whole, can't handle it. Boy Erased isn't for everyone; however, this is a very touching and supportive film directed to inform society that we all should never judge people for the sexuality and/or religion belief. Lucas Hedges and Russell Crowe play remarkable parts in this film that right from the first scene with them together are remarkably astonishing. Boy Erased is out now (November 8th [US]) and has already made over 3.5 million dollars worldwide. Boy Erased is a great film with great lessons and parables.
Symbiote meets a Horror Icon: Venom vs Halloween
As the leaves turn and the season turns to Fall, one wonders what this October has in store for the people going to the movies. October is the start of the fall movie season and has a great line up so far. From the Venom and A Star is Born to Halloween and Suspiria, it looks to be shaping up to be a great opening month for movies of all genres. Some may be duds and others are hits, both with critics and box office.
This weekend, looks to be a great example with the return of John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween. Ignoring all sequels from the original, this takes place forty years after the events of the first Halloween film. Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. This film is looking to project to win and beat out the film that has been holding the top spot for the last two(2) weekends in a row, Venom.
Half way through the month of October, one movie has claimed the box office since its release on October 5th, Venom. With Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, this film wasn't as successful with the critics as other film of that same date (i.e A Star is Born). Not being pandered by the critics, it didn't turn away superhero fans from spending their hard earned money to see this version. After opening weekend, this film made eight (80) million dollars, just in domestic sales and this past weekend made another thirty five(35) million dollars (domestic only). Even though, it [Venom] has sit on top for two(2) weekends in a row, the time has come for the legend to reclaim his mantle. The much anticipating horror/slasher film of the Halloween season will be out this weekend and will dethrone Venom from its number one stop.
Further more, it is our privilege to announce the next feature films we will be reviewing. It has been years in the making and the reuniting of these icons made the choose to review the new Halloween film, all the more certain that the review will be a little different that past reviews. While we are reviewing this film, we will also cross reference the original film as well. Just remember that we will not be having any spoilers in this review, much like other review sites, but will pinpoint common scenes and character traits from original to this new film.
But wait, there's more. If you read the above statement right, we are going to reviewing films and not film. Our second selection of our featured film review section will be Venom. This Venom review won't be a comparison of the Spider Man 3's Venom (worst); however, this will be a standard review with similar specs of most of our reviews. Please bare with us on these reviews since they take time and please be patient.
We will also open a poll on what films you would like us to put in our review pipeline. The review will be a monthly poll and will have "other" option to fill in your film that we might not have listed. Please feel free to borrows our other review in preparation of these newest reviews.
***UPDATE***
Our review of Jonathan Rome's The Hunt and Hunted is coming along great and had to hold off on the review for a few weeks due to company concerns; however, our review is currently being worked on and should be out soon.

Liberty Massacre 5 years of horror
Over this past weekend, we attended the 5th annual Liberty Massacre Short film event, hosted by Loren W. Lepre. With 5 years of running this event, many short films have passed through the halls of the Troc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Loren's own feature film directorial debut film, The Dark Military, has even premiered in those same halls. We have selected a few short films that we got to witness over this past weekend that look pretty good to review. We will be in contact with the directors/producers of these short films which include:
She Came From the Woods
Marian
Happy Birthday, Brenda
We will be selecting at least one of these from this event. We will be selecting the one/two short films very soon, so please keep a look out for the selection in the next coming days. Please see the trailers for each of them below:

Hunt or the Hunted: How Rome built a strong cultured indie film
Recently Next Dimension got our hands on a little film from director and college student, Jonathan Rome, called The Hunt and The Hunted. This premiered a few weeks/days before his High School graduation. This film has been in development since November of 2017 and features new comers Tristen Tecala as Logan and Jonathan Rome as Hunter. We have officially selected this independent film as one of our films to review for our Indie Film Corner and are currently in the process of this. With all in depth reviews, this will take time. We are looking to publish our review sometime next week.

Chase The Streets!!! - Ten Miles of Struggle and Power!
The city of Camden, the poorest city inside one of the richest states, New Jersey, has seen it fair share of violence, crimes, scandals and utter disasters through the years, but one man, Thomas Freeman JR, tells it justice. Chase Street is a story that sees the struggles throughout the streets of Camden, where the number one import/export is narcotics which fuels the economy built on violence and desperation to accommodate a political system mired in corruption and cronyism. Throughout the wreckage, reigns of the Drug kingpins and their political puppet masters, the people of this city have to live, work, and play in this deadly ten mile treacherous terrain they call home!
Chase Street is directed by Derrick Hammond (Her Little Secret and Inside Pocket) and written by Thomas Freeman JR. Chase Street is brilliantly constructed to brighten Thomas Freeman's vision of Camden to light for all eyes to see. They work brilliant together to bring every aspect of this story, the emotional feel of the struggles and characters, front and center, that jump from page to screen.
A great cast is also the key to telling a great story. With great talent from Melanie DiPiero, Michael Johnson, Clifton Powell and Jamila Bishop to Philadelphia's own breakout artist, Gillie Da kid, Vincent Young and Michelle Romano, the cast of this film doesn't compare to the performance they give the audience throughout the film itself. Derrick, Thomas and all the producers have handed pick some of the best talent men and women to tell the story of the poorest city in one of the richest states, Camden.
Chase Street will be premiering on March the 10th at AMC Lowes Cherry Hill, NJ at 6:30pm and again at 8:00pm.
We are very proud to announce to you now that we will be there to watch, support and review this movie. We will be posting this film review without spoiling this for the fans of the film. Please come out, meet the great cast and crew of the movie and support this film!!!

The Final girl has a whole new meaning in Girl #2
We are very pleased to annouce another selection in our Independent Film Corner in David Jeffery's short film "Girl #2". This short film is such a great piece of art work that you have to wonder, how did the Director come up with this film's idea. Some-Things Stranger, in your Neighborhood, who are you going to call?
Hello fellow followers,
We are more than happy to announce a completely new section to our film review corner. With all the new TV shows, on cable and other streaming platforms, we have decided to create another review section that will be dedicated to those streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon) and their hit shows overall. We will adapt the same formula from our Independent film and Hollywood film reviews towards this one section. We are proud to announce that our first selection to this new channel, will be Matt and Ross Duffer's creation and hit phenomenal Science-fiction Horror series, Stranger Things (S1 & S2). Starting, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, New Jersey's native Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, with the great and talented Winona Ryder, David Harbour and many more talented actors and actresses.
Stranger Things S1 & 2 (2016- ):
In a small town where everyone knows everyone, a peculiar incident starts a chain of events that leads to the disappearance of a child - which begins to tear at the fabric of an otherwise peaceful community. Dark government agencies and seemingly malevolent supernatural forces converge on the town while a few locals begin to understand that there's more going on than meets the eye.
We will keep our viewers up to date on this and when the Stranger things (S1 & 2) would be dropping. As always, we would love to hear back from our viewers, so please comment and/or email us on future shows to review or if you agree or disagree with our reviews on our new channel, "The Stream".
Stranger Things Season 1 & 2 are now on Netflix only!!!! Please support these guys and watch this fantastic and 80's themed show. I am proud to say that this is one of our all time favorite shows on Netflix and this show is binge worthier!!!
